Fleshly Rejection
Romans 7:15-21 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
When the flesh can’t do anything it’s when the spirit takes over. The spirit is always wanting to do good but the flesh will not allow it. The sin of the flesh holds back the spirit from working. Throughout the Bible we find many of times where people wanted to do good however, their flesh was always holding them back. Jesus was the only one that was to reject His flesh. He went thru the same fleshly battles as we do and have gone thru. He was tempted just as us but was able to reject the devil each time. Don’t let the flesh rule in you life. When you get up on a Sunday morning with the thought of attending church and allow the flesh to overcome and don’t attend, the spirit lost. The lost lives their life by the flesh. They do things thru works that are good however the spirit is not there to bare witness. These works have no bearing on getting to Heaven. Salvation thru Christ Jesus is the only thing that will open the doors unto Heaven. At the time of death, the flesh will turn to dust. It holds nothing just as the works of man hold no bearing on salvation. The spirit within, being saved, is the only thing that matters at the time of death. If the flesh is ruling in your life and there is no conviction, you’re lost.

Having A Heavenly Vision
Acts 26:19-29 (Part of the Revival 2019 series).
No matter who you are or what you’ve done, you’ll need a heavenly vision from God. It’s not what you’ve done or been thru but about what Jesus Christ did on the cross. You must be a willing vessel to have that Heavenly Vision. Each and every saved person has had their own personal Heavenly Vision. God has to come to you first for you to be saved, this is the Heavenly Vision. When God comes searching and calls out for you to be saved, this is your age of accountability.

1 Samuel 17:3-11 (Part of the Revival 2019 series).
Just in today’s time we have the lost or the world on one side and the saved or church on the other. In the middle is where the battle takes place. We should be willing to get into the valley and get fighting. Don’t depend on someone else to do your work. It’s a great feeling to be in church and get built up but, there comes a time when you’ve got to get out of your comfort zone and work for God. Stop listening to the devil 1 Sam 17:24-25 We must change and quit buying into the devils lies. The devil is looking to destroy you to keep you from doing what you’re supposed to be doing for God. David wasn’t worried about himself. Stop tearing others down. 1 Sam 17:28-29 There’s not a single person that knows another persons heart. Half the time you don’t even know your own heart. Your pride gets in the way and stops you from doing Gods work. 1 Sam 17:34-37 Don’t forget the mission 1 Sam 17:45-47 We get caught up into our surrounding and forget what our purpose is. Don’t forget the mission. Don’t you ever get caught up with the stuff in your life and push God out of your life? There must be action other than just sitting and praying. Jesus when He did His miracles there was always an action.

Where There’s Smoke, There Should Be Fire
Exodus 19:18 (Part of the Revival 2019 series).
There are people today trying to live their life as a Christian but they are simply making smoke. In the time of Moses the magicians were able to “copy” Aaron and Gods works up until a certain point. They were able to fool others up until God proved them wrong and outdid them. Many of churches today have a building, a sign, a name, songs and even a designated preacher but they lack one thing and that’s the fire of God. Solomon built an altar unto God because he knew He needed to worship God. Solomon was ready to worship. We should attend church to ready before we arrive not after or during. What is the fire? John the Baptist said it the best. He said there is one that comes after him that will baptize you with fire and the Holy Ghost.

Burning In The Heart
(Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Having the Lord in your heart will cause you to be happy in the morning, happy in the evening, happy in the good times and happy in the bad times. How can people sit and listen about Jesus and yet put Him off that they don’t need Him? Jesus knows our hearts, our inward thoughts when no one else does. Does it burn in your heart that Jesus calls to you? Do you have that happiness? Do the things that you’ve done cause hurt in Jesus’ heart? Jesus loves you and will forgive you for whatever it is.
Preached by Cameron Crisp on June 2, 2019 (Sunday Evening).
