The Reality of Heaven
(Part of the Communion Services series).
There are some that don’t believe in Heaven, Hell, God, or even a devil. Some believe that when you die you’re just like a dog and simply just go back to the ground. When people die and folks say that someone is looking down on them, that’s a lie. Some believe that when one dies they go to a purgatory and folks pray for them to get to Heaven. That’s a lie as well. The one thing that is true is that if you’re saved, you’ll go to wherever God is. Flesh and blood will not be in Heaven. The flesh, earthly things can’t be there because they are not holy. There never has been and there never will be a place like Heaven. Many have tried to figure out Heaven. Do you know who knows more about Heaven than anyone else? The ones that are in Heaven. One will never know about Heaven until they are there. So how do you get to Heaven? Romans 10:9-13 There are many that are sitting in churches all around just as lost as they can be. Pick up a newspaper and look at the obituaries. Just about all of them are going to Heaven. People have been deceived by the devils lies. One can’t live and play with sin and love God. If you love God then you will keep His commandments. Many of people love the creation more than they love God. You will die one day. You will either die quickly or you’ll die laboriously. Either way, you’ll die. Get prepared while you can to meet your maker. Everyone has the opportunity to be saved before they die. When you get to Heaven, what will you do? You won’t be huggin up on your mother, you’ll not be fishing in the river, these things are earthly and you won’t be doing that. You’ll be thanking, worshiping, honoring Jesus the one that brought you there.

Just Do What God Says
Genesis 1:1 (Part of the Communion Services series).
Man had nothing to do with creation. Man is still trying to figure what makes a lightning bug light up. Only one thing God requires, believe the Word of God. In the day of Noah, everyone but Noah's family perished in the flood because they didn't believe God' Word. If we just did what God told us to do each time we came to church, it would amaze you. Don't let the devil talk you out of doing what God told you to do. Many people are attending churches throughout the nation thinking they are ok when they are lost. One can fool everyone around them but they can never fool God. Obedience is better than sacrifice. The lightning bug was created by God for a reason.
Preached by Bo Thomas on June 3, 2016 (Communion).
The Simplicity of God
(Part of the Communion Services series).
We live in a time where people are confused, but God is simple. There are many beliefs, denominations and most are fake. God turned a rod into a snake and back again. God made a hand turn to leprosy and back again. God fed the thousands with just a few fish and bread. If we just stand and declare that God is God, He will work through us. Some say it's complicated to get saved but it's as simple as accepting Christ. Foot washing service is simple, you just have to believe in the Gospel. People have been healed, saved, restored and all of these things are simple for God to accomplish. We will believe man but have a hard time believing God. Some feel that it's not needed to attend a church. Church is a necessity in your life and God said so. We should all pray over our meals because He is the one that provided it, not Krogers. Everything in our lives should glorify God and nothing else. Hebrews 12:1-2 We should sit and talk to Jesus just like we would our best friend. Some have a problem getting to church service on time but they will not be late to work. Have you ever thought how God simply spoke the world into existence?
Preached by Bo Thomas on June 5, 2015 (Communion).
Do You Remember When?
(Part of the 220th Original Tennessee Association of Primitive Baptist series).
Preaching and praying are the same when it comes to you can't do it enough. Why are people not coming to church? It's you're fault as a Christian. Are you waiting until the Spirit tells you do talk to someone? I think the Spirit has just went and left you if your waiting on it. We all need a burden. The problem is that we don't have burdens anymore. The devil has whipped the Christians down to nothing. If you let satan he will take everything away from you that helps you grow with Christ. Do you remember when Jesus was born? Do you remember when Jesus Jesus was crucified? Do you remember when Jesus rose from the grave? It doesn't look like we are gaining in the church. The guilt is all on us as Christians for NOT doing His will. Until we as Christians wake up and get concerned in our hearts for the lost, we will never see them saved. If you're a Christian then you MUST love everyone. Why must you love everyone, because HE is love and if you're saved HE lives inside you. When you come to church, go for yourself, prayed up and stop worrying about the folks sitting around you.
Preached by Bo Thomas on October 10, 2014 (Association Evening 2).
