The Greatest Love Story
Romans 5:1-8 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
The Greatest Love Story A lot of people do not want a hope because they’ve been disappointed before by hope. Unfortunately, that type of hope is in things that all fail. We should put our hope in Jesus Christ, the one and only thing that can not fail. In verse 6 we see that God is saying to the saved that our sins are in the past. Christ found you, you didn’t find Him. We have no way to get to God and nor does a lost person want to. The flesh or lost doesn’t want God. When a person is lost they are without hope and strength. If one thinks they will I’ve the way they want to and once they are done they will find God, this is a lie from their current god, Satan. No man knows Gods time. In Gods time He will ask one to be saved. One can open the door all day long but if God is not knocking and at your door, then you waste your time opening it. Likewise, one can’t depend on someone else’s experience, invitation, salvation. Verse 7 we read that there is no one that would die for a bad persons life. Then there would be very few that would die for a good person. Verse 8 we see the greatest love to ever be experienced. Christ died for all when they were all, ALL horribly bad, sinful people. We are all guilty and yet Christ loved and gave His life for us. In todays time we have people on death row. These people are all guilty and rightly deserve what is coming to them. Just as them, we are the same and yet a sinless man came and gave His life for us. Is that not some kind of love? There is no other event as great as Christs crucifixion.

Doctrine of Justification
Romans 5:1-20 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Doctrine of Justification There is nothing other than faith where we are justified. One can’t get to God unless one is justified. Justification is the purpose to make one righteous in the sight of God. Sin excludes humans from God. Justified, just if I’d never sinned. Romans 4:20-25, God took your sin and swapped it with Jesus’ righteousness. There are entire religions that are founded on the exact opposite as Romans 4:20-25. If you couldn’t earn being justified, how could you do something that removed your justification? The most important question, do you know if you’ve been born again? We get three things thru justification. We get peace with God. If you are a sinner then you are an enemy of His and you by choosing not to love His son have chosen to live In Hell for eternity. We have grace. We wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t from grace. We have all the grace we can handle by faith thru Jesus Christ. Imagine a homeless person that was brought into a mansion, cleaned up , fed, given a bed to sleep in, and a place to stay in peace. All of this was simply given without warrant. The man didn’t deserve it and never did anything to deserve it. This is grace. We have Hope. Did you know that if you take away hope from a prisoner, they will die? They have nothing to live for. If one has been born again then you have the hope in what’s yet to come. The better day that coming when no more suffering, no more sin, heartache, etc. Romans 5:5

Fleshly Rejection
Romans 7:15-21 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
When the flesh can’t do anything it’s when the spirit takes over. The spirit is always wanting to do good but the flesh will not allow it. The sin of the flesh holds back the spirit from working. Throughout the Bible we find many of times where people wanted to do good however, their flesh was always holding them back. Jesus was the only one that was to reject His flesh. He went thru the same fleshly battles as we do and have gone thru. He was tempted just as us but was able to reject the devil each time. Don’t let the flesh rule in you life. When you get up on a Sunday morning with the thought of attending church and allow the flesh to overcome and don’t attend, the spirit lost. The lost lives their life by the flesh. They do things thru works that are good however the spirit is not there to bare witness. These works have no bearing on getting to Heaven. Salvation thru Christ Jesus is the only thing that will open the doors unto Heaven. At the time of death, the flesh will turn to dust. It holds nothing just as the works of man hold no bearing on salvation. The spirit within, being saved, is the only thing that matters at the time of death. If the flesh is ruling in your life and there is no conviction, you’re lost.

Sober Minded Christian
Romans 7:24-25 (Part of the Revival 2019 series).
The mind is a very complicated thing to get lined up with Gods Word. We stress about others, we worry about things and constantly struggle with the flesh and spiritual. Your heart might be into God 100% but where is your mind? We are our own worst enemy. Sin is sin. It was wrong then and it’s still wrong today. One can’t be comfortable in sin and be saved. It’s never been about you and never will be. It’s all about Jesus Christ! You want to feel free, give it to Jesus. When God does something in you it’s something that nothing else can compare. Your only help comes from above, Jesus. Romans 8:1; If you’ve been saved then your soul is saved. Your mind is still flesh and fights with sin every second. Romans 8:6; If you start feeding your mind then you’ll surely end in death whether in spiritual or physical. It’s a choice with free will on whom you will serve, the spirit or flesh. Christians must have a sober mind. This is not referring to being drunk. Skip one service and then the flesh will take over. Then there’s the second service you’ll skip, then the third, forth, fifth. You should be in the house of God every time the doors are open. Romans 8:34-37; when you start to wonder with your mind or begin to get depressed just stay in His word because you’ll quickly see that God STILL loves you. Romans 8:38-39; clearly nothing can come between a saved person and God. In the story of the prodigal son, the son came to himself and realized that he was in the wrong and remembered his father. When he returned home, his father seen him from afar and ran to him and kissed him. The father knew about his son and never gave up on him and loved him when he returned. Just as a person sitting in the back of the church that feels as if no one cares. Or that person that’s left the church and feels as if no one misses them. It’s a lie from the devil! The church loves you and prays for you to return just as the father did for his son. Don’t end up in a hogs pen trying to figure out why and how you got there. Don’t let your mind think that there’s something better out there.
Preached by Billy Hearon on September 12, 2019 (Revival).
Now Is The Time
Romans 15:8-14 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
In this day and time, it doesn’t mean much when it comes to the the biblical term, Jew and Gentile. In Bible time, there was a great division between the Jews and Gentiles. The Jews were a religious group while the Gentiles were not. But God states and has stated that ALL are sinners and none are above the law. Four points to prove God loves us ALL from the beginning. 1. Rom 15:9 Psalms 18:49 2. Rom 15:10 Deut 32:11 3. Rom 15:11 Psalms 117 4. Rom 15:12 Isaiah 11 In verse 13 we see that NOW is the time of salvation. It’s speaks of a time and that time is now. In the present time. We see a God of hope. Have you ever thought about, what if God was a god of wrath? He is not a god of wrath but a god of hope. Any that stands against Him will fall. Nothing can separate you from the love of God once you’re saved. Hard things will come and they will surely go. God hasn’t changed and He remains the same. If He changed then you would doubt, but He does not change. He is always faithful and will never leave you. Hard things are not unique or an oddity, they happen to everyone that’s alive. We have no right to God and yet thru Jesus’ mercy we are allowed to come to the Father. If you’re just getting thru life or struggling then this is our doubt and the devil playing in your mind. God did not promise a life of struggle or life of just getting by. Set your eyes on God above and allow God to take those struggles from you. The greater your faith the greater the victory. Should we share our failures? YES! It’s biblical. When we come to the understanding that we’ve failed God and He has lifted you out of it, share your failure. It WILL lift another up too! If you’ve been born again, then you have someone that lives inside you. Power must have a source. One could wire a building but without the source of power, nothing inside of the building will not work. Once you connect the building to the power plant, then the objects will work. Just as in your life, your life is dependent upon a powerhouse and that powerhouse is God. The connect is required for a saved soul. In a house electrical current there is 2 wires, a hot wire and a grounded wire. Just in salvation both are required. The hot wire is Christ giving His life on the cross at Calvary. The other wire is the ground wire and it must be anchored in the Word, the Bible. The two must be as one in order for anything to work and for salvation to take place. Do you realize that just like the power in your house and it could hurt you? You mess with the power by sticking something in the outlet and it could kill you. Same thing, you mess with God and play games with Him, He will take you out.
