Preached by Bruce Whitehead on July 7, 2019 (Sunday Evening).
Prepare Yourselves
Mark 1:1-11 (Part of the Communion Services series).
Jesus warned us that we should prepare ourselves to eat and drink of His body. God commanded them to make offerings unto Him as an atonement of their sins. It's all a very serious thing. It wasn't but a few years ago people knew that God was serious. People young and old, saved and lost, respected who God was and still is today. The bible tells us in the beginning a certain man would come as a final atonement for ALL sins. Throughout the bible we read of this man. The way to Heaven. Christ Himself said that He was going to prepare a place for Himself AND for us. There is but only one way to Heaven and that is thru Jesus Christ and NO other way, He Himself said this.
Preached by Ricky Boring on June 1, 2018 (Communion).

Mark 5:24-34 (Part of the Freedom Baptist Church Revival series).
Preached by Tommy Boring on May 11, 2018 (Revival).
Who Is Rich?
Mark 10:17-31 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Every adult is rich. 70% of the adult population has less than $10,000. The problem is that we like to compare what others have to ours and see that others or richer than you therefore defining your own definition of what rich means.

The reason that Jesus came was because we couldn't keep the commandments. Think about your own life, heat and cool at the touch of a button. Hot water by the turn of a switch. So these things that you "own" surely since you own them you can keep them forever. At the time of your death, what will you take with you? All the belongings in your life will be left behind and nothing will be taken with you when you die.

Going to a third world country we see and compare what they have versus us. The comparison is not fair because it's based upon our current lifestyle. If one would stop and ask them if they are poor they would surely say they are not.

Billionaires wish they were happier at times but they seemingly have everything they could ever want. What does it profit a man to have everything but die with with a lost soul. Here on this earth you could have all the riches in the world but die lost and have nothing. A saved person can live on this earth with nothing to their name and die and be the richest person for eternity.

In today's time it's difficult to call to the sinner because they think they have everything they need. Can a rich person be saved? Yes, but they must put their riches away, they can't put their trust in them. A man can't worship two gods. People that trust in riches have no need for a savior because they put their trust in their riches. If you've got anything in this life, rejoice over it. Each time you can turn the water on, rejoice! With every egg you eat, rejoice! With each minute you work, rejoice!

You came into the world naked and empty handed, you will also leave this world naked and empty handed no matter what you own or know. How rich are you? If you don't have Christ, salvation, then you are as poor as poor can be.

Hell
Mark 9:42-48 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Baptist preachers are known for preaching about Hell, often. The truth is, Jesus preached on hell often as well. There is a reason we must be saved, there is something that we are saved from. To be born again one must become as a simple minded child. One should not offend a saved child. People live as if there is no end to their life yet everyone WILL die, no one will live forever here on this earth. What does Hell look like? Luke 16 describes a man that went to Hell and what he experienced there. Before Christ those that died believing in God went to a place called Paradise. Those that died with unbelief of God went to a place called Hell. Hell is a place of multiple torments. Fire that is unending that burns nonstop whatever it touches. The worm or mind of a person that will never die will forever think of those times of repentance. The ability to look into Heaven only to know you will never be able to be there because of your choice to deny Christ. There will be screams and crying from deep within Hell. Teeth that bite and tear at the flesh, never stopping. There are many that are already on their way to Hell, right now! If you're lost, you're going to Hell. The only thing that saves you from going to Hell is Jesus Christ with His salvation. One MUST believe in Jesus Christ in order to be saved and go to Heaven. God never said He wanted you to go to Hell but instead, Heaven. Another torment of Hell is knowing your family members and friends are on their way to Hell as well and not being able to stop them. How could you want to go to Hell? A place that's better than Paradise is called Heaven which is where all the saved, born again believer are headed. Once your eyes close for the last time they will then open in Heaven. Jesus sits on the right side of God in Heaven where there is NO sadness or regrets. Heaven is the permanent place that was created by Jesus after His crucifixion. The Lake of Fire is the permanent place of Hell after Jesus come again. Don't let your permanent location be Hell. If God didn't love you then He wouldn't have sent Jesus, His Only son, to die in your place.
Preached by Tommy Boring on June 25, 2017 (Sunday Morning).
