Where Is Your Faith? (Part 2)
Daniel 3:16-30 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
|There are things about this world that it's not for God. There are those today that are told to deny their God and worship another God and if they don't death comes to them quickly. One shouldn't be a fool to those things in this world because we have been warned of those tests. One should make their mind up right now in whom they are going to serve no matter the circumstance. Just as the three men in Dan 3:16-30, they knew what was coming because they could watch the man made god being built. What kind of faith does it take to stand against a false god? The size of the faith is not the issue, it's the God behind it.
They were convinced, confidence and committed. They were also respectful in their attitude. Three were put in the furnace but four was seen. When they were called back out, three came out leaving the fourth one in the fire. In the time of your troubles, fiery times, God will be with you.
The world wants nothing to do with God . They try every way possible to remove Him each and every day. The bible is not just for Sunday's, it's also not just emergencies. Owners manuals are given out in order to know how to operate things just as the bible was given to know how to live and worship God.

Christ is ALL
Colossians 2:6-10 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
|Daniel prophesied that Jesus would come and in Luke the prophecy came true. Mat 28:18 Christ is all powerful and He has been given the power from God. Col 3:10-11 Christ is all in all. Col 1:15-18 Take note of how many times "all" is used. Eph 1:22-23 Christ is all in all and if you do not have Christ then the opposite of all is nothing. In the first chapter of Genesis it plainly states that in the beginning there was nothing but God created ALL things, therefore Christ is over ALL things. Christ alone is God so there can't be any other god. John 17:1-2 He's not only over all things but also all flesh. So is there anything that Christ is NOT over? Does He have power over Satan? God didn't create evil, the being that He created choose to be evil therefore creating evil. God didn't create beings to be mindless but to have the ability to choose. This means that it's either life or death that one must choose from. After death there is a place that everyone will go upon their choice, it's either Heaven or Hell. With Christ it's either all or nothing therefore there is no middle ground. Why does people hate Christianity, because it declares only one way to salvation. Christ even holds the dominion of which Satan will be forever cast by Christ alone. John 5:22-23, Rom 14:8-9 He is a persons all in all. One can't have Christ and yet live for the devil. Christ can't live in ones heart and the heart yearn for worldly, devilish wants.
If you reject Christ, then you've rejected it ALL. When He speaks to your heart then that is the time that you can't be saved. Only Christ can save you. Only Christ can set you free.

You Know Already
Daniel 5:1-31 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
When you get to judgement, the only thing that will come from your mouth will be, "amen" hearing your own condemnation if you're lost. Every man is a liar and God is true. In our history books we read about Babylon falling and when it fell a great party took place. Daniel 5:1-31 speaks of this great fall. When you die your not just dead, there is a life after death. Which life you pass into is up to you. Daniel 5:22 people walk around with the knowledge of Jesus Christ coming to save the lost. Refusing to believing in that fact does not make it invisible or non applicable to you. The reason why the lost will say amen to their own condemnation is because they knew. We live in a time that folks are unmoved of the truth of Jesus Christ. Daniel 5:23 shows us that he had no fear of what God could do. Today we live in a time that folks no longer fear the living God. People live after their own wisdom which is flawed. Titus 2:11 proves to everyone that Christ's invitation will appear to ALL persons. Daniel 5:24 declares a judgement, a closing. Once judgement is declared, it's done, finished. Judgement will catch many unaware because death is a sure surprise. Daniel 5:30 death came to a great city, one of the greatest cities fortified by men. Hebrews 10:28-31 you might walk around today with no fear of meeting a Holy God. Living just as you want in a lifestyle without Christ in your life. But when death finds you unprepared, it will be too late to accept Jesus Christ. God holds your very breath and that one fact should be enough to fear Him. He loves you and wants you to be with Him in His dwelling place, Heaven. When Jesus Christ invites you to be saved, accept His plead. Don't refuse Him, run to Him.

Will You Wait For A Second Chance?
Daniel 4:28-30 (Part of the Miscellaneous series).
Daniel knew that God could help him but ahead had to ask first, he had to do something first. All of our lives are incomplete and unfinished. When something comes together and you feel as if everything is going good for you, don't slip up and think YOU got yourself there. God is the only one that could get you to the place that you're in with His mighty blessings. King Nebuchadnezzar had to be changed from the inside out in order for him to eat the grass as like a cow. The king was warned and told to change but he decided to not hear that. Will you make that same choice? You're not promised like the king, seven years to think about it. One time is all that God said He would call your name. One of the lies from the devil is, "if Jesus could do just this one thing". Jesus did it all on the cross for your sins. No amount of miracles or healing can prove His love or to change your mind. Repentance postponed is a ticket to Hell.
